I'm sure your kitchen is always buzzing with activity, ours is constantly in action - the poor kitchen never gets a break, she is always on! I love hanging out in the kitchen (mostly because my kids want to eat three times a day and well...I'm a mom and apparently it's my job to feed them!) so, I never forget to decorate this space so that the kids can enjoy the holiday even when running in for a snack. The breakfast table is the perfect spot to create a tablescape that isn't in the way and really adds to the holiday atmoshere. I love to decorate the light fixture and have recently added a white holiday tree which will be decorated in a theme for each of the 8 holidays...yes, I'm that person. Celebrate the good stuff because life is short and there are way to many serious things going on in the world and we all need a little fun!
